Goomalling boasts several parks and public areas for you to enjoy.

War Memorial Park Goomalling

War Memorial Park

Centrally located in front of the old Railway Station, there is plenty of parking, clean and modern public toilets (two each for male and female). There is an electric BBQ, two gazebos with tables and chairs, a huge shady gum tree with wrap around seating, paved area surrounded by garden beds and turf.

Anstey Park, Railway Tce Goomalling

Anstey Park

On the opposite side of Railway Terrace, between café Lot 39 and the post office, Anstey Park (named after Councillor Anstey who served from 1932-1946) has a lovely gazebo and a nice lawn to relax and meet up with friends. The CWA building at the back of the park was built in 1954.

The shady playground at the entrance to the Goomalling Recreation Grounds is suited for older as well as younger children. It has two shaded tables and chairs for picnics.

Oak Park Picnic Area

Only a 15 minute drive from the centre of Goomalling, Oak Park is a beautiful tranquil place to go for a walk or have a picnic. There is a wood BBQ, covered table and chairs, plenty of parking and a long drop toilet. A walk trail runs through Oak Park so you can see the wetlands, bushland and gnamma holes.

Admire the native revegetation work carried out by the farming families of the Gabby Quoi Quoi catchment in this area while you stretch your legs or enjoy a picnic.  Hundreds of thousands of trees have been planted by these families to improve the environment, increase biodiversity and help farm profits through improved sustainability.
