The WA Electoral Commission is hiring election staff to work at polling places across regional and metropolitan WA to deliver the upcoming WA State Election on 8 March.
These general polling positions are perfect for anyone looking to gain new skills, earn extra income and contribute to your community. There are opportunities to work in:
- early polling (24 Feb-8 March)
- mobile and remote polling (23 Feb-7 March) and/or
- on election day, Saturday 8 March.
Pay rates are around $29 to $70 an hour depending on the role. No experience is needed as all training will be provided.
You don’t need to be an Australian citizen to work at the State election but you do need to have valid working rights in Australia.
