Drone safety during emergencies
During emergency operations, prioritise safety by keeping your drone grounded. During bushfires drones can interfere with firefighting efforts and make it harder for first responders to save lives and properties. Keeping your drone grounded helps firefighters do their job safely.
To keep everyone safe, never fly your drone during natural disasters like bushfires, floods, or storms. Stay away from emergency operations, and if you're near one, keep your drone on the ground unless you have permission from authorities.

Keep your distance
Flying a drone is an exciting way to capture amazing views, but safety comes first. Always keep your drone at least 30 m away from other people unless they are assisting you. This will keep everyone safe if your drone experiences any unexpected issues and loses control.
