One hundred and six years since the armistice of World War 1 at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918, the community remembers the sacrifice of many Australian's across all conflicts, in a small but poignant service in Veterans Park.
John Simmons, rode in uniform at top a 30 years old horse to open the service. Keith Drew and Mal Craig with Students from Goomalling Primary School and Sacred Heart Catholic School shared stories of women and men that served throughout the various conflicts.
Thank you to Keith and Anne Drew from organising the service.
