Toy library
The Goomalling Toy Library works like a book library, except children borrow toys, games, and puzzles. All of the toys are of good quality and are carefully selected to provide entertainment and educational benefits to enrich the daily play of children from birth to seven years old.
The library is a voluntary organisation run by parents. The initial purchase of toys was funded by Lotteries WA in 2003 and further toys are purchased through fundraising and membership fees. New members are always welcome.
9.30-10.30am Fridays (during school terms) to coincide with Better Beginnings Storytime.

Better Beginnings
Storytime at the library is heaps of fun for children and their carers. Volunteers engage the children with sing-along songs, read a story or two, and organise a creative activity such as painting, collage, craft.
It’s a perfect time to borrow a new book or DVD from the library too. Our storytime is part of the Better Beginnings Family Literacy Program coordinated by the State Library of WA.
10.30 - 11.30am Fridays (during school terms) at the Community Resource Centre on Railway Terrace.
The stories are suitable for children from 0-4 years old, but all children and their carers are welcome. The more the merrier!
